Health applied to fish is a concept considered as an integral topic where Aquainnovo’s know how and expertise allows us to support our customers in many aspects. They include: nutrition, immune response and stress monitoring, functional diet analysis, fish health and innovative diagnostic techniques. These aspects are supported through a wide range of services. We offer an integral tool to support our customers’ production and decision-making.

Our Technical Support department has vast knowledge and expertise regarding issues related to health and aquaculture industry. At the same time, our department has the competence to detect and handle high risk pathologies.
Making a correct decision is essential. You will be able to reduce the outbreak risk of pathogens with the help of consulting, health reports, and biosecurity audit services provided by Aquainnovo. Our company has the ability to perform sampling to audit the disinfection processes of surfaces and areas the main high risk pathogens present in the cultivation centers.
Human capital value increases with knowledge. Technical support department gives training sessions whether on-site or in Aquainnovo’s offices on important topics such as fish biosecurity, nutrition, feeding and health.

The diagnostic laboratory is characterized for being a highly competent laboratory from the point of view of molecular biology, making available analysis of a wide variety of fish pathogens with real time technology. In addition, we have an infrastructure and multidisciplinary personnel which allows us to offer services such as: anatomopathological analysis, bacterial culturing and analysis, cell culture and histology, among others.

Our Breeder Screening program is carried out by our technical support staff, which takes samples on-site taking all the necessary biosecurity measures. For its part, the diagnostic laboratory uses the highest quality standard techniques available in the market. All our samples take control ELF to assure the result quality.

Sernapesca has accredited us to carry out this official program. We offer you quick and accurate response regarding the ISA Virus, and we can provide further information, if required, such as that related to HPR, F (+/-), among others.

1) List of Sanitary Status Certifiers according to S.D. N° 15:

The following professionals have received, on date 09.02.2011, the resolutions by which their incorporation to the registry established in conformity with the S.D. Nº15 is ordered, in the category of certifier of sanitary status.

2) Current Accreditation Status NCH ISO 17025 and Scope:

The laboratory was communicated of its accreditation approval by Instituto Nacional de Normalización (INN) under the Chilean standard NCh ISO 17025, on date 09.08.2011

The accreditation scope involves “Fish Sampling and Pathology” and it is valid for 3 years..

3) SERNAPESCA’s authorization for the RT‐PCR Snow HPR0 technique, implemented by our laboratory::

The technical documents that support our RT‐PCR ISAV‐HPR0 assay have been sent via Mr. MV Álvaro Labra. This assay was developed and implemented by our laboratory. The content of this document establishes the optimum conditions to carry out the RT‐PCR ISAV‐HPR0 assay based on the Technical Standard 3 from SERNAPESCA.o

We have trainers authorized by Sernapesca under the Programa Sanitario Especifico de Vigilancia y Control de Caligidosis (PSEVCC), to train monitors on site for the correct monitoring and application of this official program.
